CHCS has provided nearly 187 care packages of fresh food items to residents of its four affordable senior housing communities as well as 65 clients of its In-Home Support Program.

The grants will support on-going efforts to provide emergency assistance and critical support to individuals, seniors, families, and children in need in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) will once again partner with the Philadelphia Phillies to host a night of family fun at Citizens Bank Park.

A portion of all tickets sold will directly benefit Catholic Charities Appeal beneficiaries providing support to the homeless, special needs students, food cupboards, afterschool programs, and more.

Nearly 24 representatives from 12 dioceses across the United States will be in attendance to learn about model parish-based elder care programs.
