The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education to Host STREAM Expo Showcasing Innovational Achievements in Catholic Schools from Preschool to 8th Grade

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education (OCE) will host the 2025 STREAM Expo for preschools and parish and regional elementary schools throughout the five-county region. In addition, students in kindergarten to eighth grade who currently take part in the Coding and Robotics Program sponsored by the Office of Catholic Education and the Foundation for Catholic Education will have the opportunity to participate in the inaugural Coding and Robotics Competition.

STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math.  The goals for the 2025 STREAM Expo are

  • to highlight the importance placed on presenting curriculum in all STREAM content areas with a foundation based on the principles of the Catholic faith;
  • to demonstrate the creativity and ingenuity of collaborative learning in Archdiocesan schools from Preschool through 8th grade; and
  • to illustrate to school families, benefactors, supporters of Catholic education as well as those in the community the value the Archdiocese places on integrating faith values throughout the curriculum to prepare students for their future.

The STREAM Expo will illustrate the strong academic and fine arts programs in Catholic preschools and parish and regional elementary schools throughout the five-county Archdiocese.
