The Archdiocese Of Philadelphia Releases “Back To Mass” Video Testimonies From Local Catholics Ahead Of The Projected Resumption Of The Public Celebration Of Mass In The Five-County Region

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia (AOP) released video testimonies from local Catholics eagerly anticipating a return to the public celebration of Mass after their prolonged fast from the Eucharist as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and related social restrictions. The videos are available in English with closed captioning as well as in Spanish and Vietnamese.

The “Back to Mass” video testimonies are part of “Arise: Restoring Catholic Life After the Pandemic,” an initiative of the AOP designed to enrich spiritual life and prepare for the re-invigoration of parish life when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Additionally, the videos are designed to inspire confidence and joy in returning to Mass and a sense of “rising from the tomb” with Christ as we emerge from the difficult period of lock down.
