Our local gathering to express solidarity with the efforts of the Universal Church will take place on Thursday, October 22nd and coincide with the Feast of Saint John Paul II.

Mary’s Cupboard, an emergency food assistance site located at the Bucks County Family Service Center in Levittown, is seeking donations of backpacks to benefit local veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness. The center is a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (CSS).

All are invited to join in spirit with Mercy Hospice and walk on their own to raise awareness of substance use disorders and celebrate individuals in long-term recovery by joining as a Virtual Recovery Walk participant.

The Bucks County Family Service Center will serve as a “Stuff the Bus” collection site. This year, the initiative aims to assist local families with children in need as well as those impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

This program, affectionately called “Clothing Cuties,” aims to assist families experiencing financial hardship as a result of the pandemic by providing essential infant and children’s clothing. This relief effort is especially critical during these challenging times.
