Saint Norbert Parish School to Host “Grand VIP Day”
Saint Norbert Parish School in Paoli (Chester County) will celebrate “Grand VIP Day.” All students have the opportunity to invite a special guest to visit the school. This day not only honors the students’ special guests, but also remembers and honors the veterans of our country’s Armed Forces.
The day will begin with a prayer service led by Reverend Steven J. Albero, O. Praem., Pastor of Saint Norbert Parish; Reverend Jeff D. Himes, O. Praem, Parochial Vicar of Saint Norbert Parish; and featuring participation by members of the second grade class.

Following the prayer service, the “Grand VIPs” will visit classrooms and tour the school.
In addition, students will perform in a patriotic show singing a variety of songs to honor those who served in the military. The show will conclude with students performing the retired flag ceremony of the Navy and will present the flag to the veteran who received it.
Bernadette Dougherty, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, will also be present.
