Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls to Celebrate the Upcoming Christmas Season with Tree Lighting, Caroling, and a $2 Million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Grant Award

During the festivities, PA State Senator Jimmy Dillon will present $2 million dollar check from the RACP grant.
Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in the Tacony section of Philadelphia will celebrate the Christmas season and showcase their newly renovated courtyard. The Saint Hubert’s Chorus will perform sing-a-long Christmas Carols prior to the Christmas Tree Lighting.

During the festivities, Pennsylvania State Senator Jimmy Dillon will present Saint Hubert president, Lizanne Pando and Friends of St. Hubert president, Margaret Fennerty with the $2 million dollar check from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant the Friends of Saint Hubert’s were awarded in November to complete the new Connelly Arts & Design Center. “St. Hubert’s is a pillar of our community charting an innovative course into the future,” said Senator Dillon. “As both a legislator and a father of two daughters, I’m incredibly proud to support a great project that will help revitalize the school and empower students to participate and to compete in fields where women are traditionally marginalized.”
Saint Hubert’s students will honor invited guests including members of the Philadelphia Police Department’s 15th District, as well as Pennsylvania State Senator Jimmy Dillon; Pennsylvania State Senator Christine M. Tartaglione; Pennsylvania House of Representative Joseph C. Hohenstein; Pennsylvania House of Representative-elect Pat Gallagher; and Philadelphia City Councilmember Michael Driscoll.
Attendees will enjoy complementary hot chocolate and cookies.
