Regina Stango Kelbon, Esq. to Receive 2023 Magis Award From Project Magis, an Initiative of the Catholic Charities Appeal

Project Magis will award Ms. Regina Stango Kelbon, Esq., Partner, Blank Rome LLP the 2023 Magis Award for her significant contributions to the Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA). The award will be conferred at the annual Project Magis cocktail reception.

Project Magis is a networking group of legal and financial services professionals dedicated to helping others in the local community by supporting CCA, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s single largest fundraising initiative. Project Magis assists people in need by addressing issues such as hunger, homelessness, addiction, and more through dedicated fundraising events.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Intellectual Disabilities Division of Catholic Social Services (CSS) including Saint Edmond’s Home for Children and The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence.

Background Regarding the Magis Award

The Magis Award is presented to individuals in the Greater Philadelphia business community who, regardless of creed, have demonstrated respect, dignity, kindness, and humility toward others in the performance of their duties and in their profession. Honorees are committed to service rooted in solidarity and justice, increasing common good by doing more for others, and creating a better society and life for those around them.

Background Regarding Regina Stango Kelbon, Esq.,

Ms. Regina Stango Kelbon is the Co-Chair of Blank Rome LLP’s Philadelphia Office and serves on the Firm’s Executive Committee. She is a Fellow in the prestigious American College of Bankruptcy where she serves as the National Chair of the Education Committee for all Circuits in addition to serving as a mediator for the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Kelbon is a current member of CSS’ Strategic Planning Committee and a prior board member. During the holiday season, Ms. Kelbon organizes and serves dinners at Mercy Hospice, a residential program apart of the Housing and Homeless Services Division of CSS in Philadelphia. Mercy Hospice offers stability and hope to single women and mothers with children experiencing homelessness and in recovery from substance abuse.
