Prayer For Peace in Ukraine Led by His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, to be Held in Philadelphia

The Office for Communications shares the below on behalf of The Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia.

Philadelphia, PA – The Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia will host a special event on Thursday, March 7, 2024, to offer prayers for peace in Ukraine amidst the ongoing war.

This prayer will be led by His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. The bishops of the Permanent Synod – Most Rev. Borys Gudziak, Ukrainian Catholic Archbishop of Philadelphia; Most Rev Wolodymyr Juszczak from Poland; Most Rev Bohdan Dzyurakh, who leads the Ukrainian Catholics in Germany and Scandinavia; Most Rev Yosafat Moschych and Most Rev Andriy Khimiak from Ukraine — will be present. Two Ukrainian Catholic bishops in the United States – Bishop Venedykt Aleksiychuk from Chicago, IL, and Bishop Bohdan Danylo from Parma, OH, will join the prayer.
