The African Catholic Community of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will celebrate the 11th Annual African Family Heritage Mass commemorating the rich heritage and diversity of the African Catholic community of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will be the principal celebrant and homilist.

The Mass will be multilingual and multicultural, representing the languages and diverse cultures of Africa. Catholics from Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville, D.R. of Congo, Eritrea, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, and the United States will be represented at the Mass.
Participants are encouraged to wear the traditional attire of their countries of origin.
