Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School to Host Sister Mary Scullion, R.S.M., President and Executive Director of Project HOME

This Lecture is part of Bonner & Prendie’s yearlong 70th anniversary celebration

Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School (Bonner & Prendie) in Drexel Hill (Delaware County) will host Sister Mary Scullion R.S.M., President and Executive Director of Project HOME, as part of a lecture series. All are welcome to attend.

Sister Mary will speak to the Bonner & Prendie community about her life’s work, the inspiration that led to her desire to care for the homeless in Philadelphia, and her mission at Project HOME. In addition, Sister will be accompanied by a resident of Project HOME who will share a personal story.

The event is hosted by the Alumnae Committee of the B & P Alumni Ambassadors Council. Following Sister’s remarks, there will be an opportunity for a Q&A dialogue session.

The Bonner & Prendie school community prays daily for the intercession of Saint Augustine and Saint Katharine Drexel. Through action, Sister Mary Scullion models the love taught and lived by these two saints.

In September 2023, Bonner & Prendie kicked-off a yearlong celebration in honor of its 70th anniversary.

On September 9, 1953, Archbishop Prendergast High School for Boys opened its doors for the first time. One school for boys grew into two separate schools for boys and girls before becoming coeducational and known as Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School.
