Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School Boys’ Basketball Team to Play in PIAA 5A Championship Game

Bonner & Prendie community to hold “Clap-Out” celebration as team departs for Hershey.

The Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School Boys’ Basketball Team will contend for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Boys’ 5A Championship when they play West York High School from York (York County). This is Bonner & Prendie’s second appearance in the state finals.

The team will gather in the school’s gymnasium and walk the hallways lined with students who will clap and cheer on their classmates as they depart for their game on Friday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the Giant Center in Hershey.

The Bonner & Prendie Boys’ Basketball Team has an overall record of 23-7 this year. On March 17, the Friars defeated Upper Moreland in the 5A Semifinals.

The game will be aired on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) pcntv.com/sports/.
