#iGiveCatholic Giving Days Takes Place in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia

#iGiveCatholic is nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day, hosted on
GivingTuesday, that celebrates and supports parishes, schools, and charitable ministries.

PHILADELPHIA, December 2, 2025 – More than 100 Catholic parishes, schools, and charitable ministries throughout the five-county Catholic Church of Philadelphia are participating in #iGiveCatholic today. The initiative, locally spearheaded by The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia in partnership with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has raised over $7.4 million for Catholic entities in the Archdiocese since 2020.

#iGiveCatholic, nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day, is celebrated annually on GivingTuesday. The initiative promotes a collective culture of Catholic philanthropy in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, helping to build sustainable annual fundraising capacity for parishes, schools, and organizations.

“I am deeply grateful for the generosity of all who support #iGiveCatholic,” said Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia. “Your gifts make a tremendous and impactful difference in the lives of countless individuals throughout our local Church. They are your brothers and sisters in Christ and you are bringing them the compassionate love of our Lord. This day is a powerful reminder of the strength and unity of our Catholic community in Greater Philadelphia, along with the hope and help we share through giving.”

Ted Qualli, President and CEO of The Catholic Foundation said, “Today is not just about fundraising—it’s about building up the Church, one act of generosity at a time. Every gift is a sign of hope and a testament to the power of our Catholic community.”

Today at 4:00 p.m. (EST), The Catholic Foundation will take over the national #iGiveCatholic livestream. Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will join Ted Qualli, President & CEO of The Catholic Foundation, to kick off the hour-long broadcast. Throughout the livestream, Mr. Qualli will interview representatives from the Young Catholic Professionals’ Philadelphia Chapter, the Archdiocesan Office for Catholic Education, Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, and the Catholic Charities Appeal of Philadelphia.

New for 2025, participants can also track volunteer hours during the campaign, recognizing that Catholic giving includes time and talent as well as treasure. Some participating organizations may log volunteer hours taking place during the giving phase, while others may host service opportunities to engage students, staff, and donors in the spirit of Catholic service.

Donors can support today’s #iGiveCatholic campaign by visiting PhillyGivesCatholic.org to make a gift or learn more about the participating organizations.
