#iGiveCatholic Giving Day Takes Place in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on #GivingTuesday
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia and The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia partner to support this national Catholic Day of Giving.
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has partnered with The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia to participate in #iGiveCatholic for the fifth consecutive year after raising more than $5.6 million for Catholic entities throughout the Archdiocese since 2020. Today is the official #iGiveCatholic Giving Day.
#iGiveCatholic is celebrated annually on #GivingTuesday, which follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. #iGiveCatholic is a Giving Day that kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back.
Last year, the Catholic Charities Appeal of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary Appeal placed first and second respectively for most dollars raised by participating entities throughout the country as part of this national Catholic fundraising initiative. This year, 152 Catholic entities in the five-county metropolitan region are registered to participate including all 15 Archdiocesan high schools and all three Archdiocesan schools of special education.
#iGiveCatholic presents an opportunity for Catholics, and all those who support the Church’s good works, to affirm their belief in serving others. It also gives parishes, schools, and charitable ministries the chance to rally support for the work of their pastoral and charitable ministries during a season traditionally associated with giving.
Special recognition goes to our Presenting-Level Sponsors, the Clark Family, James and Agnes Kim and Family, and McCloskey Financial Group, Partner-Level Sponsor Saul Ewing LLP, as well as, our Lead-Level Sponsors, Kennedy Printing and Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP. They are providing prize incentives for all participating organizations, giving them the chance to raise extra funds through #iGiveCatholic.
