Catholic Charities of Philadelphia Releases 2023-2024 Annual Report
The report highlights a tremendously positive impact on the lives of nearly 300,000 people in need throughout the five-county region.
Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP) directly impacted 294,403 adults, children, seniors, and families throughout the five-county metropolitan area in the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2024.
Approximately 6,045 clients received pregnancy and parenting services; 477 children and youth participated in Out-of-School Time programs; 9,548 newcomers were served; 861 individuals experiencing homelessness received shelter; 1,363 seniors benefitted from senior centers; 973 older adults assisted in elder care program; and 228 men, women, and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential care.
In addition, CCoP’s Nutritional Development Services provided over 5.6 million children’s meals through the federally funded Child Nutrition Programs. Over two million additional meals were provided across 50+ food cupboards, shelters, senior centers, and Family Service Centers. Martha’s Choice Marketplace and Community Farm, another ministry of CCoP, grew over 18,000 pounds of food for clients.
