Catholic Social Services’ Northeast Family Center to Host Annual Free Community Baby Shower
The Northeast Family Service Center (NEFSC), a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (CSS), will host a baby shower for expectant mothers and parents with children under the age of one in the local community.

The outdoor event will include parenting education, games, raffles, light refreshments, and a sensory trailer for young children. In addition, over twenty vendors will be in attendance to help connect families to various parenting resources.
Young women and mothers regularly turn to the NEFSC as well as other CSS Family Service Centers located throughout the Philadelphia region for emotional support and essential parenting resources needed to best care for their families. These centers offer comprehensive services such as counseling, mentoring, education assistance, adoption counseling, and enrollment in benefit programs, as well as providing prenatal and parenting support groups.
