Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (NDS) will host its final “Farmers to Families” food distribution event in Philadelphia’s Juniata Park neighborhood for individuals and households facing food insecurity stemming from the ongoing pandemic.

The fifth grade class at Saint Maximilian Kolbe School in West Chester (Chester County) will host a Zoom video conference with Fabien Cousteau, founder of the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center (FCOLC) and grandson of  renowned oceanographer Jacques Cousteau.  As the students began research for their own underwater city model, which is nearly complete, they were inspired by research done by Mr. Cousteau’s Ocean Learning Center.  The class will have the opportunity to ask him questions and share with him what they’ve learned during this STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) integrated project.

As the “Year of Saint Joseph” continues, the faithful throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are invited to continue to pray the Novena to Saint Joseph on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
