Bishop Efren V. Esmilla to Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the African Family Heritage Mass

The African Catholic Community of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the African Family Heritage Mass commemorating the rich heritage and diversity of the African Catholic community of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Most Reverend Efren V. Esmilla, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will celebrate the Mass.

The Mass will be multilingual and multicultural, representing the languages and diverse cultures of Africa. Catholics from Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Congo, and Ivory Coast, among other countries, will be represented at the Mass.

Participants are encouraged to wear the traditional attire of their countries of origin.
