Born in Upper Darby, Rev. Mr. Matthew P. Windle has been serving as a deacon at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA (Montgomery County). He attended Sacred Heart Parish School and Haverford Public High School in Havertown. He received his Bachelor of Arts at Rosemount College and his Master of Divinity Degree at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

There are four men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2016. Each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish.
