Born in New Brighton, PA, Rev. Mr. James J. Cardosi has been serving as a deacon during the summer at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish in South Philadelphia. He attended Saint Titus Elementary School and Bishop Kenrick High School in Montgomery County. He received his Bachelor of Science at the United States Naval Academy and his Master of Divinity Degree at Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary (a seminary for men thirty years and older) in Weston, Massachusetts.

There are seven men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2015. Each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish.
