The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education to Host STREAM Expo Showcasing Innovative Accomplishments of Teachers and Students in Grades Preschool to 12

Over 50 Archdiocesan preschools, parish and regional elementary schools, as well as secondary schools to participate.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education (OCE) will host the 2022 STREAM Expo for preschools, parish and regional elementary schools, as well as secondary schools throughout the five-county region.

STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math.  OCE’s vision for their curriculum is that a STREAM gives life to wherever it flows and that this integrated instructional model provides substantive academic offerings with real world applications.

The goals for the 2022 STREAM Expo are

  • to highlight the importance placed on presenting curriculum in all STREAM content areas with a foundation based on the principles of the Catholic faith;
  • to demonstrate the continuity of learning in Archdiocesan schools from Preschool through 12; and
  • to illustrate to school families, benefactors, supports of Catholic education and well as those in the community that despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, learning in Archdiocesan schools has continued a focus on interdisciplinary learning to prepare students for their future.

The STREAM Expo will highlight the strong academic and fine arts programs in Catholic preschools, parish and regional elementary schools, and secondary schools throughout the five-county Archdiocese.
