Sixty-nine students representing Archdiocesan and private Catholic High Schools throughout the five-county region have been selected to participate in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s 2025 All Catholic Chorus and to perform in the annual concert.
This year’s All Catholic Chorus, is under the direction of guest conductor, Dr. Marci Major, Associate Professor of Music Education at West Chester University. The concert will be hosted by Ms. Evelyn Stohlman, Choir Director, Bishop Shanahan High School.
Ms. Katherine Chmelko, Director of Performing Arts for Nazareth Academy High School in Northeast Philadelphia and Mr. Thomas Kuchler, Director of Performing Arts for Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills (Bucks County), will serve as the Festival Coordinators.

Students from Archdiocesan secondary schools including Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor (Delaware County); Archbishop Ryan High School in Northeast Philadelphia; Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown (Chester County); Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield (Delaware County); Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills (Bucks County); Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale (Montgomery County); Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia; Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford (Montgomery County); Roman Catholic High School for Boys in Center City Philadelphia; and Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in the Tacony section of Philadelphia will participate.
Students from private Catholic high schools including Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem (Bucks County); Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School in North Philadelphia; Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown (Montgomery County); Nazareth Academy High School in Northeast Philadelphia; Sacred Heart Academy in Bryn Mawr (Montgomery County); and Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern (Chester County) will also participate.
The students will perform pieces selected from Magnificat, arranged by Francesco Durante; Wanting Memories, arranged by Ysaye Barnwell; No Mark, arranged by Cecil Effinger; The World Will See, arranged by Kyle Pederson; Be Thou My Vision, arranged by Mack Wilberg; and Sikirileke/Koloi, arranged by Sabelo Mthembu.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door.
