Sixty-eight students representing Archdiocesan Secondary Schools and private Catholic High Schools throughout the five-county region have been selected to participate in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s 2024 All Catholic Chorus and to perform in the annual concert.
This year’s All Catholic Chorus, is under the direction of guest conductor, Dr. Paul Head, Director of Choral Studies at the University of Delaware. The concert will be hosted by Mr. Thomas Kuchler, Director of Performing Arts for Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills (Bucks County). Ms. Katherine Chmelko, Director of Performing Arts for Nazareth Academy High School in Northeast Philadelphia, will serve as the Festival Coordinator.

Students from Archdiocesan Secondary Schools including Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor (Delaware County); Archbishop Ryan High School in Northeast Philadelphia; Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown (Chester County); Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield (Delaware County); Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills (Bucks County); Lansdale Catholic High School in Lansdale (Montgomery County); Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia; Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School in Drexel Hill (Delaware County); Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford (Montgomery County); and Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in the Tacony section of Philadelphia will participate.
Students from private Catholic High Schools including Nazareth Academy High School in Northeast Philadelphia; Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern (Chester County); The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova (Delaware County); Saint Joseph’s Preparatory School in North Philadelphia; Sacred Heart Academy in Bryn Mawr (Montgomery County); Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem (Bucks County); and Villa Joseph Marie High School in Holland (Bucks County) will also participate.
The students will perform pieces selected from Sigh No More Ladies, arranged by Rene Clausen; Laudate Dominum, arranged by W.A. Mozart; TaReKiTa arranged by Reena Esmail; The May Night arranged by Johannes Brahms; Let Me Listen arranged by Dan Forrest; and Soon I Will Be Done arranged by Marques L.A. Garrett.
Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door.
