Reverend Victor F. Sharrett, Pastor Emeritus, Saint Patrick Parish, Kenneth Square died on Monday, May 8, 2023.

Father Sharrett was born on September 17, 1939, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Victor A. Sharrett and Mildred Ulmer. Father Sharret attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parochial School, Doylestown, and Lansdale Catholic High School, Lansdale, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Father Sharrett was ordained on May 22, 1965, at The Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia by Most Reverend John J. Krol. Father Sharrett served as Parochial Vicar, Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Ambler, and Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Morrisville. He served on the Faculty at Bishop Kenrick High School, Norristown, and as Principal, Archbishop Wood High School. In 1992, Father Sharrett was appointed Pastor, Saint Patrick Parish, Kennett Square and named Pastor Emeritus, there in 2015.

The Reception of the Body will be held at Saint Patrick Church, Kennett Square on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 6:00 P.M., followed by a viewing until 8:00 P.M. Most Reverend Edward M. Deliman will celebrate the Funeral Mass for Father Sharrett, on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 A.M. Concelebrating the Funeral Mass will be Reverend Monsignor Francis J. Depman, Reverend Richard J. Maisano, Reverend Christopher B. Rogers, and Reverend Monsignor Gerald D. McManus, will be the homilist.

Father Sharrett is survived by his brother Dr. Christopher B. Sharrett. Interment will be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Doylestown
