The Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School Football Team (Neumann-Goretti) from South Philadelphia will contend for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 3A Championship when they play Belle Vernon Area High School from Belle Vernon (Westmoreland County). The game will take place at Cumberland Valley High School’s Chapman Field in Mechanicsburg (Cumberland County) on Saturday, December 10 at 1:00 p.m.

Neumann-Goretti’s Football Team is 11-3 overall. They defeated Wyomissing, 20-17 in the PIAA Semifinals on December 3 at the Germantown Super Site in Philadelphia to advance to the Championship. They claimed the District XII Championship on November 12 when they defeated Kipp-DuBois Collegiate Academy at the South Philadelphia Super Site.

The game will be televised live on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) at pcntv.com/football/.
