Reverend Louis P. Bellopede, Pastor of Saint Agnes Parish in West Chester (Chester County) will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for the 150th anniversary of Saint Agnes School.

Following Mass, tours of the school will be offered.
On Monday, August 29, Father Bellopede and Sister Danielle Teti, I.H.M., the school principal, greeted over 320 students including 75 new students and 40 new families to kick-off the yearlong celebration of the school’s sesquicentennial.

Saint Agnes School opens its doors daily to provide a nurturing, affirming environment for over 300 students. Providing academic excellence since 1871, the parish school offers programs for grades pre-k (3yrs old – 4yrs old) through eighth grade in a faith-based, nurturing, and affirming learning environment. The school has won the 2015 U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Award for the second time in the last two decades.
