A native of Chester County, PA, Rev. Mr. Tobin has been serving as a transitional deacon at St. Katherine of Siena in Northeast Philadelphia, for the past year. He attended Avon Grove High School (2004) in West Grove, PA. He served in the United States Navy (2004-2009). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from West Chester University (2013). He earned his Master in Philosophical Studies (2016) and his Master of Divinity (2020) from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood.

Father Tobin’s first Mass will be celebrated privately in the presence of family and friends due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
There are two men from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in the Ordination Class of 2021.

Editor’s Note: The newly ordained priests will be assigned, at the conclusion of the Ordination Mass, to an Archdiocesan parish where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish.
