The Friends in Faith program will provide high school students with the opportunity for Jewish-Catholic dialogue.
The Theology Department at Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford (Montgomery County) will host a program titled, Friends in Faith for juniors and seniors from Pope John Paul II to come together with their grade counterparts from Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy in Bryn Mawr (Delaware County). The day will include opportunities for students to engage in activities which will promote interfaith dialogue to advance mutual respect, understanding, and solidarity in the spirit of Saint Pope John Paul II.

Close to 200 students will take part in the program. Friends in Faith, is coordinated by Mrs. Janet Wigoff, Theology Chair at Pope John Paul II High School. Sunday, March 29th marks the beginning of Holy Week, the last week of Lent, in the Church’s Liturgical calendar and on Friday, April 3rd the observation of Passover in the Jewish community begins at sundown.
