7th grade students to raise awareness for access to clean water.
The 7th grade class from Our Lady of Grace Parish Elementary School (OLG) in Penndel (Bucks County) will hold an event to raise awareness for access to clean water. The students recently read “A Long Walk to Water” by Linda Sue Park and they will present what they learned about the water crisis in South Sudan.
Through their presentations students hope to educate people about the water crisis in the eastern Africa country and encourage them to donate to Water for South Sudan. Their goal is to raise $100 for the nonprofit organization that provides clean water in Sudan.
