The Archdiocesan Pastoral Center located at 222 North 17th Street will serve as a designated diaper distribution site for families in need in Center City, Philadelphia.
Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (NDS), in partnership with The City of Philadelphia, will distribute diapers to families in need in Center City, Philadelphia who are impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
Auxiliary Bishop John J. McIntyre, who oversees the Secretariat for Catholic Human Services as part of his administrative and pastoral responsibilities, will bless those distributing diapers as well as those receiving the diapers. He will be joined by staff from NDS and Catholic Social Services (CSS) who will then distribute the diapers which are provided by the Greater Philadelphia Diaper Bank and Mitzvah Circle.

In addition, families can also receive a week’s work of shelf-stable breakfasts for children, provided by NDS, at no cost. The meals and diapers will be distributed beginning Tuesday, April 21 and continue Tuesday’s 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Friday’s 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The APC will feature a “grab and go” delivery system outside the building. Families are asked to call 267-262-8904 to schedule an appointment. Children do not need to be present and no I.D. is required.
