National School Lunch Week is celebrated October 10th -14th
Nutritional Development Services (NDS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will mark National School Lunch Week with a special blessing of a new lunch program at Saint Monica Parish School in South Philadelphia.

In addition to blessing the children, equipment and food, students from Saint Monica Parish School will pray together a Litany of Thanksgiving.
NDS provides each day over 19,000 healthy, affordable meals to students attending more than one hundred Catholic, charter and private schools throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania’s five counties.
NDS schools meals are funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
