Faithful throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are invited to welcome and adore Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist as the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage passes through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia between May 30 and June 3. The Seton Route is one of four paths that pilgrims will take from all over the Unites States as they journey to the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.
The weekend-long visit will open on Thursday, May 30 with a Eucharistic Procession as the Blessed Sacrament and the thirteen official USCCB pilgrims of the Seton route enter the Archdiocese of Philadelphia from the Diocese of Trenton. This procession will end with Prayer and Benediction at Holy Trinity Church, with Most Reverend John J. McIntyre, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, presiding. Parish events and Eucharistic processions will be taking place throughout the Archdiocese during the weekend.
