Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez To Ordain Seven Men to the Priesthood for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia

Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia, will ordain seven men to the Priesthood for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The Rite of Ordination will take place during Mass following the Liturgy of the Word.

Those being ordained are: Reverend Mr. Anthony J. Albanese; Reverend Mr. Shane M. Flanagan; Reverend Mr. Randall J. Kraft; Reverend Mr. Phong T. Le; Reverend Mr. John C. Okpara; Reverend Mr. Kenneth I. Omeke; and Reverend Mr. Wesly L. Taveras.  

Each of the newly ordained priests will be assigned to a parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia where they will serve as parochial vicars. A parochial vicar is a priest appointed by the Archbishop to assist the pastor of a parish with his pastoral and administrative duties.
