Most Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, will visit Saint Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments in the Greater Northeast section of Philadelphia, to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving for the 70th anniversary of the school. Bishop Chylinski oversees the ministry of Catholic education as part of his pastoral and administrative duties in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Reverend Brian A. Izzo, Pastor of Saint Jerome Parish, will concelebrate.
Prior to Mass, Saint Lucy School alumni will gather for a presentation.

Saint Lucy students will serve as readers and presenters of the offertory gifts. A graduate of Saint Lucy’s will be joined by students from Saint Jerome Parish School who will serve as altar servers.
Following Mass, Saint Lucy’s students will perform a concert under the direction of Maria Ceferatti. In addition, Bishop Chylinski will have the opportunity to meet students and tour Saint Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments.
Saturday, December 13 is the Feast of Saint Lucy, the school’s patron saint.
