Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School to Kick-Off Dedication Week with Fall Rosary Rally

Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School (Bonner & Prendie) in Drexel Hill (Delaware County) will kick-off Dedication Week with a Fall Rosary Rally on the school’s newly renovated turf field. The full school community will be present to participate in this long honored tradition. Members of the Class of 2022 will gather on the field in the shape of a living Rosary.

Most Reverend Michael J. Fitzgerald, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia, who oversees Catholic education in the Archdiocese as part of his administrative and pastoral responsibilities, will offer a blessing on the field. He will be joined by John E. Cooke, Ed.D., President of Bonner & Prendie; Reverend Joseph Zaleski, Bonner & Prendie’s School Minister; and Jacqueline and James Delaney ‘69.

The Fall Rosary Rally will begin with the announcement of the naming of the school’s newly renovated turf field as the Class of 1969 Alumni Field. The newly renovated field, designated for use by all Bonner & Prendie students, was made possible through the generosity of Jacki and Jim Delaney ‘69. In addition, the entrance to the field features a gateway that all teams and fans will walk under that reads Class of 1969 Alumni Field.
