Saint John’s Hospice has provided care for homeless men in Philadelphia for over half a century.
Saint John’s Hospice (SJH), a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (CSS), will honor members of the Philadelphia Phillies organization for their support of SJH’s mission to provide crucial, life-sustaining services with dignity, respect and compassion to homeless men in Philadelphia.
After home games throughout the regular season, excess meals prepared for Phillies’ players, coaches, and clubhouse staff have been donated to SJH to feed men experiencing homelessness.
SJH will honor Phillies Team Chef, Keith Rudolf, as well as Chef Dean Dandridge, Aramark and Executive Dining Room/Press Club Chef, for their work in preparing these meals.
The event will also recognize Frank Bowens, Manager of Ballpark Operations; James Rodriguez, Ballpark Operations Assistant; Steve Simons, Ballpark Operations Assistant; and Phillies’ Vice President of Administration, Kathy Killian for their support of SJH.
