**MEDIA ADVISORY** MORE THAN 1,200 ARCHDIOCESAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ATHLETES RECOGNIZED FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE FALL 2021 SEMESTER**MEDIA ADVISORY**

On behalf of the Office of Catholic Education and Faith in the Future, Mrs. Nancy Kurtz, Interim Superintendent for Secondary Schools, has announced the 2021 Archdiocese of Philadelphia Fall Sports Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. This distinguished list recognizes Archdiocesan high school student-athletes who earned first or second academic honors in the first quarter marking period while competing in cross country, field hockey, soccer, girls’ tennis, golf, football, and girls’ volleyball.

“Our students returned to five day a week in-person instruction this Fall as well as a full season of athletic competition.  Their academic success and athletic accomplishments are a tremendous achievement in which our student-athletes and school communities should take great pride,” said Mrs. Kurtz.
