Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will celebrate Mass for the Pope John Paul II High School (PJP II HS) community in Royersford (Montgomery County). Father Alessandro Giardini, who serves as the school’s chaplain as well as Parochial Vicar of Saint Eleanor Parish in Collegeville (Montgomery County) will concelebrate. Deacon Thomas Phillips, a long-term substitute teacher at PJP II will assist at Mass.
During the liturgy, the Archbishop will bless members of the PJP II HS student council, who will be installed that night.

Brynn Delaney, the student council president will present Archbishop Pérez with a token of appreciation on behalf of the school community.
Following Mass, the Archbishop will tour PJP II HS and visit with members of the school community. The Mass is also being celebrated for Pope John Paul II’s Feast Day on October 22nd. Pope John Paul II died on April 2, 2005 and was canonized by Pope Francis on September 30, 2013. Saint John Paul II served as Pope for 27 years.
