Lansdale Catholic High School Girls’ Basketball Team to Play in Their Third PIAA 4A State Championship

Lansdale Catholic community to cheer on team before they depart for Hershey.

The Lansdale Catholic High School Girls’ Basketball Team (LC) from Lansdale (Montgomery County) will contend for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Girls’ 4A State Championship when they play Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School from South Philadelphia. This is LC’s third appearance in four years in the State Championship game, which they last won in 2023.

The team will gather in the school President’s office and will be greeted by the LC school community whose members will line the halls to cheer on their classmates ahead of the game on Saturday, March 29 at 12:00 p.m. at the Giant Center in Hershey (Dauphin County).

The LC Girls’ Basketball Team has an overall record of  23-5 this year. On March 22, the Crusaders defeated North Catholic High School from Cranberry Township (Butler County) in the semifinals. This is Head Coach Tom Lonergan’s first season at LC.

The game will be televised on the Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) pcntv.com/basketball/.
