#iGiveCatholic Returns to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for 2021

#iGiveCatholic is nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day, hosted on #GivingTuesday that celebrates and supports parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries.

PHILADELPHIA, August 16, 2021 – The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has partnered with The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia to participate in #iGiveCatholic for the second year in a row.

#iGiveCatholic is nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day. It is celebrated annually on #GivingTuesday, which follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. There is an Advance Giving phase that takes place from November 15th through November 29th, culminating in the Giving Day on November 30th.

Last year, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia participated in #iGiveCatholic for the first time. 101 organizations registered to participate in the initiative and over $1.1M was raised for the participants.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s participation in #iGiveCatholic presents an opportunity for Catholics to affirm their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing their gifts out of love for God and one another. It also gives parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries the chance to rally support for their individual organizations and make a difference in their community, with the goal of raising as many funds as possible.

Registration for #iGiveCatholic is now open. Any parish, school or nonprofit that is interested in registering should visit Philadelphia.igivecatholic.org. For any questions related to the #iGiveCatholic initiative in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, please contact The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia at 215-587-5650 or [email protected].
