The Francis W. Sullivan makerspace will provide Father Judge students the opportunity to further their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Father Judge High School (FJHS) in Northeast Philadelphia will dedicate the Francis W. Sullivan STEM Lab. The unique space will provide Father Judge students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) while learning 21st Century skills that include critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration with their peers.

Reverend Joseph G. Campellone, OSFS, a former President of FJHS and currently a Consultant for the Friends of Father Judge, Inc. overseeing Advancement and Major Gifts, will bless and dedicate the new space. Mr. James Hozier, Principal of FJHS, will offer brief remarks and introduce Mr. Dennis Riley and Mr. William Hagan, representatives from the Francis W. Sullivan Foundation. Mr. Brian Patrick King `97, President of FJHS, will provide concluding remarks at the dedication ceremony.
Over the past two years, the Francis W. Sullivan Grant has provided FJHS with approximately $50,000 to support several of the school’s initiatives to expand STEM capabilities.
