Conwell-Egan Catholic High School
611 Wistar Road
Fairless Hills, PA 19030

The celebration of the expansion of the EAST program, during its 10th Anniversary, at CEC will include a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the new classroom in memory of the late Ms. Bonnie Gray.  Ms. Gray was a Bishop Conwell student who went on to a successful career in science. The Gray family and friends have donated a new EAST classroom in honor of Bonnie’s memory.

Immediately following the private dedication ceremony, a public event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., will bring together prospective students and their families, EAST faculty moderators, and current student representatives to explore upcoming projects, see new program expansions in action, and learn more about the cutting-edge technologies students are utilizing in the EAST classroom.

EAST® is an educational model focusing on student-driven service projects accomplished by using teamwork and cutting-edge technology. EAST classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art workstations, servers, software and accessories, including GPS/GIS mapping tools, architectural and CAD design software, 3D animation suites, virtual reality development and more. Students identify problems in their local communities and then use these tools to develop solutions, collaborating with civic and other groups in the process.
