Deacon Vincent G. Ceneviva, died on Sunday, October 1, 2023, after a short battle with cancer, he was 75 years old.
Deacon Ceneviva was born in Glenside, Pennsylvania to Vincent and Anna Ceneviva. He was a graduate of Cheltenham High School. He owned Ceneviva’s Custom Upholstery in Chalfont, a business he started and grew for more than 50 years.
Deacon Ceneviva was ordained by His Eminence, Anthony Cardinal Bevilacqua, on June 4, 1989, at the Cathedral-Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. He was assigned to Saint Jude Parish, Chalfont. In June of 2003, he was transferred to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Hilltown, where he remained.
Deacon Ceneviva is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen (nee Kennedy); his children: Christopher, Adrienne, and Carla; four grandchildren; one sister Marianne; and one brother Joseph.
Reception of the cremains and visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, beginning at 9:00 AM followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown. Most Reverend Michael J. Fitzgerald will be the principal celebrant. The homilist will be Reverend Michael J. Kelly.
