Ginger Smith, Community Liaison for CCS said, “Now in its third year, the prom gear exchange continues to provide formalwear to deserving youth and their families helping to alleviate the financial burden of participating in prom. We want to support youth in celebrating this special time in their lives.”
Young women from Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls along with individual and community organizations donated prom gowns, suits, and accessories which will provide students the opportunity to shop at no cost to them. Highlights of this year’s exchange include refreshments, music by DJ Discipline, make-up demonstrations, raffle prizes, teen resources, and more.
CCS is operated by Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, which for over 200 years has provided social services to children, adults, and families of all faiths throughout the five-county metropolitan area.
