Catholic Community Services (CCS), a ministry of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP), will host a special event for National Adoption Month celebrating the ministry’s adoption services and the families it has served.

The event will include community reflections and stories from families whose lives have been changed through adoption. Over 60 individuals will be in attendance including clients that have received adoption services, CCS staff, and members of CCoP’s leadership.
In addition, the event will feature a screening of “A Place to Belong”, a short documentary highlighting stories of CCS’ adoption services.
About Catholic Community Services
CCS is the Community Umbrella Agency (CUA #4) designated by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services (DHS) to serve dependent children and families in the Greater Northeast section of Philadelphia. CCS CUA #4 is a legally independent community program that functions under the advocacy of the Youth Services Division of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia and provides Community Engagement, Prevention Services, and Case Management Services formerly maintained by DHS.
