All are invited to gather at the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to enjoy an afternoon of musical selections, which call us to focus on the Lord’s promise of hope, joy, and love during this Advent Season.
The Cathedral Basilica Choir and instrumentalists will perform the Seven “Great O Antiphons” culminating in a thrilling setting of the Magnificat by Leo Nestor. In addition, they will perform works by Melissa Dunphy, John Muehleisen, Frank La Rocca, Charpentier, and beloved Christmas Carols for all to participate.
