Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. today presented the preparatory catechesis, prayer, and iconic image for the World Meeting of Families – Philadelphia 2015 to the Pontifical Council for the Family (PCF) during a press conference at Sala Stampa in Rome, Italy.

Cap. has asked that all 219 parishes in the five-county Archdiocese of Philadelphia consider taking part in a national initiative spearheaded by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop (USCCB) to support victims of religious persecution and terroristic violence in the Middle East.

Student athletes and trainers from eight Archdiocesan high schools are completing a week long program with researchers from the University of Notre Dame who are developing voice analysis software that will assist doctors and athletic trainers in recognizing concussions.
