Jennifer Lynn Settle will be consecrated as a bride of our Lord Jesus Christ

As thousands of Catholics and other prolife persons gather in Washington on January 27 and walk together in the annual March for Life, the time has never been better, nor the need more urgent, to pray for our country, to pray for the end of abortion, and to pray for a conversion in the hearts our leaders.

The Solemn Funeral Mass for Most Reverend Martin N. Lohmuller, Retired Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia and Titular Bishop of Ramsbury, will take place in the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.

In support of the 44th Annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., staff from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and students from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School will light nearly two hundred luminaires to remember the millions of lives lost to abortion.

Most Reverend Martin N. Lohmuller, retired Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia and Titular Bishop of Ramsbury, died on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 24th at the age of 97. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living Roman Catholic bishop in the United States of America.

It is an opportunity to come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith, its authentic content, and its orientation toward the transformation of the world around us.

The Annual March for Life is a national event promoting the respect and protection of all human life from conception to natural death.
