Tolton Ambassadors are commissioned to share information with the faithful about the significance of Father Tolton’s Cause for Sainthood; promote prayer for the success of this cause; and educate others about the life and impact of Father Tolton.

When an event sells out five weeks in advance with 300 people on a waiting list, it’s safe to conclude a few things. First, the event matters. Second, it’s meeting a serious need. Third, the topic greatly interests its intended audience.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Catholic Grandparents Association, and Saint Monica Parish (Chester County), will host a day of learning, sharing, prayer, and support for grandparents in the five-county region encompassing the Archdiocese.

Archbishop Chares J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will preside over the blessing and dedication of Pennsylvania’s first Homeless Jesus statue at Saint John’s Hospice, a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will host its seventh annual picnic for approximately 650 children and youth from 10 Out-of-School Time Programs.
