The Office for the New Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia along with WINE (Women In the New Evangelization) invites women of all ages to come together for a day of inspiration, faith, fellowship, and fun at the inaugural WINE National Catholic Women’s Conference.  A sell-out crowd of 1200 women is expected.

For the seventh consecutive year, Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is implementing the Summer WorkReady Program managed by the Philadelphia Youth Network. This summer, CSS has provided 25 high school students with educationally enriched work opportunities at various Out-of-School Time program sites.

Tolton Ambassadors are commissioned to share information with the faithful about the significance of Father Tolton’s Cause for Sainthood; promote prayer for the success of this cause; and educate others about the life and impact of Father Tolton.

Archbishop Chaput’s Weekly Column: “A Moment for Women in the New Evangelization”
When an event sells out five weeks in advance with 300 people on a waiting list, it’s safe to conclude a few things. First, the event matters. Second, it’s meeting a serious need. Third, the topic greatly interests its intended audience.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Catholic Grandparents Association, and Saint Monica Parish (Chester County), will host a day of learning, sharing, prayer, and support for grandparents in the five-county region encompassing the Archdiocese.

Archbishop Chares J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. will preside over the blessing and dedication of Pennsylvania’s first Homeless Jesus statue at Saint John’s Hospice, a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
