During the months of March and April, over 65 Parochial and Private Catholic elementary, Independence Mission Schools, and Schools of Special Education throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will participate in one or more “Showcases of Excellence,” which will be held at six satellite locations including two university campuses, three Archdiocesan high schools, and one parish each in Chester, Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. The elementary Showcases highlight the strong academic and fine arts programs in Catholic elementary and special education schools throughout the five-county Archdiocese.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education (OCE), Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS), Faith in the Future (FIF), and the Independence Mission Schools (IMS) proudly announce the premiere BLOCS Gala for Catholic Education.

The Foundation for Catholic Education (FCE) is proud to announce that it recently purchased the former Saint Pius X High School building located on North Keim Street in Lower Pottsgrove (Montgomery County) for $1,000,000.

The Mass is offered for the intention of persons with disabilities, the deaf community, their family, friends, and caregivers.

The Liturgy will feature participation from groups representing approximately 29 different national, ethnic, and/or Eastern Catholic Church traditions.
